MARCS-CILS NokHook BabyLab

มารคซ์-ซิลซ์ นกฮูกเบบี้แล็บ ห้องปฏิบัติการด้านพัฒนาการทางภาษาและพฤติกรรมของเด็กเล็ก มารคซ์-ซิลซ์ นกฮูกเบบี้แล็บเป็นห้องปฏิบัติการด้านพัฒนาการทางภาษาและพฤติกรรมของเด็กเล็กแห่งแรกในประเทศไทย และเป็นศูนย์เชื่อมต่อกับ baby lab อื่นๆ ในภูมิภาคเอเชียและแปซิฟิก โดยก่อตั้งขึ้นจากความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบัน MARCS Institute for Brain, Behavior and Development แห่งมหาวิทยาลัยเวสท์เทิร์น ซิดนีย์ ประเทศออสเตรเลีย, คณะศิลปศาสตร์ และศูนย์แห่งความเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการด้านสารสนเทศอัจฉริยะ เทคโนโลยีเสียงพูดและภาษา และนวัตกรรมด้านบริการ (CILS) แห่งมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ.2558

MARCS-CILS NokHook BabyLab is a Joint Laboratory Development and Research Collaboration between Western Sydney University (WSU, Australia) and Thammasat University (TU). Thanks to many people (friends and colleagues across two continents) at the MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour and Development (WSU), Faculty of Liberal Arts (TU), and the Center of Excellence in Intelligent Informatics, Speech and Language Technology, and Service Innovation (CILS, TU), our NokHook (a Thai word for 'owl') BabyLab was successfully set up and able to start our first study (since then many more have followed!). We have been working closely with the MARCS BabyLab (Sydney) (https://www.westernsydney.edu.au/babylab/) and investigating the origins and development of human behavior, especially speech, language, and social development, using a variety of well-established non-invasive behavioral techniques. Currently, MARCS-CILS NokHook BabyLab has been actively involved in a "JEWEL Project: Joint East-West Early Language Project", primarily led by Laboratory for Language Development at RIKEN Center for Brain Science (RIKEN CBS, Japan) (https://lang-dev-lab.brain.riken.jp/index-english.html).
